Accessibility Statement

Michael E. McCabe, CPA is committed to a website that everyone can use — including people who rely on assistive technology. Accessibility isn’t a feature here; it’s part of how the Site was built.

Our standard

The Site aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Built-in measures include:

• Semantic HTML landmarks, one H1 per page, and a logical heading order;
• Full keyboard operability with visible focus styles, and a skip-to-content link;
• Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images;
• Color contrast meeting AA ratios for text and interactive elements;
• Respect for the prefers-reduced-motion setting — animations collapse to instant states;
• An on-page accessibility widget (bottom-left corner of every page) with text-size controls, high-contrast mode, a readable-font option, underlined links, and a pause-all-motion toggle — your preferences persist across the whole site.

Known limitations

Some third-party embeds (such as the scheduling calendar) are controlled by their providers and may not fully meet the same standard. Where they fall short, the same action is always available by phone or email.
